  1. Welcome to drivers collection from Morozov I.V.!
  2.  
  3.    Now it contains screen and keyboard drivers. The original purpose of
  4. this software was to provide easy and flexible way to install national
  5. (alternative) screen fonts and keyboard layout on the IBM PC or true
  6. compatibles. But the abilities were dramatically improved after extensive
  7. development. Screen driver M10_SCR (version 5.6) gives you the
  8. possibility to install screen fonts of several dimensions, switch between
  9. them or ROM BIOS fonts during execution, substitute one video mode with
  10. another or even substitute EGA/VGA video parameters. The last ability
  11. together with tools to develop user customized video parameters supplied
  12. provides the way to create your own extended video modes (100 columns x
  13. 32 rows, 112x32, 100x38 etc.) to be used with ASCII text editors (like
  14. PE2, ME etc.) or viewers. The set of smart looking latinic/cyrillic
  15. screen fonts is also included. Keyboard driver supports switchable
  16. alternative keyboard layout wich could be customized via menu-driven
  17. program supplied.  Screen driver has complete documentation in English
  18. and Russian (in alternate GOST coding) included.

  20.    You should have following files downloaded in MXX_DRV.ZIP:
  21. MXX_READ.ME    - this brief introduction;
  22. M10_SCR.ZIP    - SCREEN   driver software archive;
  23. M16_KBD.ZIP    - KEYBOARD driver software archive;

  25.    Use PKUNZIP.EXE (product of PKWARE Inc.) to unpack archives via
  26. PKUNZIP -D <archive name>  command (don't forget -D option because
  27. archives have files with the same names stored with different paths).

  29.    Thank you for using my drivers. If you continue to use this software, 
  30. I expect you to register. This software is SHAREWARE, which means that 
  31. you can test and distribute it freely in it's original form. But if you 
  32. find it to be convenient and intend to continue using it you should write 
  33. down your name and address and pay the registration fee or your 
  34. conscience will bother you forever. After the payment you will get 
  35. personalized (registered) copy of the software. If you are registered in 
  36. above mentioned way you can achieve technical support, consultations, 
  37. free next versions update. You can also order video parameter tables for 
  38. your display and video card to be created. Other software changes to 
  39. meet your personal requirements could also be performed.

  104. P.S. Looking forward: the next screen driver generation (version 6.x) is
  105.      to be released at the end of June. It would be capable to keep
  106.      several font groups (with different style), several alternative
  107.      EGA/VGA video parameters and to redefine several video modes at a
  108.      time.
